retrieve drive letter of USB Media.
...n't have an idea if it would work for USB. Easiest would ofcourse be to fix the FreeDOS bootsector and/or kernel, so that it appears to boot from a 256MB A: drive for example. MSDOS (from Win98) does seem to appear OK. Situation can be compared to booting from cdrom on a system with multiple cdromdrives, and then having to try each and every cdromdrive for finding out 'which drive contains the disk with all my info outside of the initial 1.44MB emulated floppy drive' Any ideas? Using CD to boot memdisk images?
I have a 32MB HD image that I can pxelinux.0/memdisk boot without issue. I would like to both memdisk and my image on a CD and then boot from the CD with pxelinux.0. Is this possible? If so how? Thanks.

chainload cdrom
perhaps the boot-from-cdrom code in Smart Boot Manager? Bernd >>> No, since booting from CD-ROM requires that the El Torito part of the BIOS is activated, which it won't be if it didn't boot from CD-ROM in the first place. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Op deze e-mail zijn de volgende voorwaarden van toepassing:
