Streaming
Hi,
I am using a ccRTP to provide streaming over RTP.
I would like to know if Ices0 could be used to send MP3 Streaming for a
Player. I need fragments MP3 file to streaming, so I think that IcesO
does it. I am not sure but I understood that Ices0 does the stream to
Icecast server send.

I'm using the speex library in my RTP project (i'm using GNU ccRTP library).
My program creates and destroys speex objects everytime a new RTP connection
is made. But, when i test it with a client which create a connection to it
one after another, the free memory decrease constantly to the point where
the programs execution crash because not more free memory....

is a lot of talk on Java discussion forums about coding
this sort of app, but I'd prefer something that did not
need the high overhead of a JVM.
One could use the CCRTP libraries to build such a program
and sample code exists that creates a sender and listener
but nothing like a stream server seems to exist.
For the moment, I've kludged up a SIP UA to service a few
incoming calls in a conference, but that won't scale to a

[somewhat OT] seeking ideas/input for my thesis
Hello VoIP guys
Sorry for being somewhat off-topic. At the moment I am studying
informatics in the seventh semester and I need to start thinking about
my thesis. As I am very interested in VoIP technologies I thought about
picking this as my main topic. So far I have only little experience in
this area. I have been fiddling around with siproxd and pfSense and have
