2d plotting and colours
Hi!
I am new to R just 3 days in it and i apologize if my questions seem very
trivial and consumed your valuable time.
I am coding in perl and i stumbled upon R regarding plotting good
statistical graphs.
I tried the kmean clustering for a large matrix ,say > 150 * 150 . I tried
the example code given in the tutorial to perform 2d plot
# i ranges from 2 to 10
cl <- kmeans(x, i, 20)

Strange problem with Gruff not always displaying graph
...get the number relating to the id of the requested item

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
I have the following in my controller:
def create_graph
g = Gruff::Line.new(290)
g.title = "Reports"
g.theme = {
:colors => [''#CC0000'', ''#00CC00'', ''#cc6633'', ''#cc9966'',
''#99cc99''],
:marker_color => ''black'',
:background_colors => [''#FAFAFA'', ''#FAFAFA'']

line colors in lattice.xyplot with png device.
Hi,
R is very new for me, so excuse if my questions are too basic...
BTW, are there any forum where new R users could get help without
annoying this huge mailing list ?
In following code, I'd like to choose the color for each of the curve
diplayed.
png(filename = filename, width = 950, height = 600, pointsize = 10, bg =
"white")

Incoming Calls
Hi All,
I have the following scenario, it may already have been answered elsewhere,
but I cant find the solution.
I already have a PBX and would like to start implementing asterisk. I have
ordered a 4 port card from the asterisk store (2 port FXS and 2 port FXO)
and am waiting for it to arrive.
I do not want to plug my incoming lines into my FXO ports yet as not all the
desks have IP phones

Correct scaling of axis in persp3d plot
...s e.g. in green with a nice smooth transition between, e.g.
values in the middle in yellow. So the coloring should depend on the z values. I tried the following, but it does not
give nice results:
nrz <- nrow(z)
ncz <- ncol(z)
jet.colors <- colorRampPalette( c("#ffcccc", "#cc0000") )
# Generate the desired number of colors from this palette
nbcol <- 100
color <- jet.colors(nbcol)
# Compute the z-value at the facet centres
zfacet <- z[-1, -1] + z[-1, -ncz] + z[-nrz, -1] + z[-nrz, -ncz]
# Recode facet z-values into color indices
