Advantage of Cisco 7960 with 5.x firmware?
I'm currently running firmware version 3.2 on my Cisco 7960. I've seen on the list that several people are running the 5.x latest versions. I've avoided going to higher firmware versions because I'm worried about potential problems or issues with the encryption mechanism used in the later firmware versions. (Once you go to an encrypted firmware version, you can't go back,

random sampling but with caveats!
...replace = FALSE) training<-HH[ss,] test<-HH[-ss,] in order to create a random training sub-sample of roughly 65% of my data and test of 35%. (I would use a for() loop to automate the process of building the datasets and running the prediction e.g.1000times) The problem is that I do have 2 caveats for the subsampling: a) I need to have control over the prevalence (proportion of observed presences within the dataset) in my build and test datasets I realise I could do this by sorting my column of presences and absences and then taking a subsample of the required size from the rows cont...

Caveats to mounting ext3 as ext2?
...o journaling - data=ordered, BTW) I have mounted this file system as ext2. The file system was clean when it was shutdown, and has been cleanly mounted as ext2, and I currently have no problems with the partition. My question is, is there any harm in mounting this partition as ext2? Are there any caveats that I should be aware of by mounting in this fashion? Thanks in advance for your help. Regards, Andy. FileCheck: using numeric variable defined on same line with caveats
Hi, TL;DR: Is it ok to allow numeric variables used on same line as defined except for CHECK-NOT and with false negatives? FileCheck does not currently allow a numeric variable from being used on the same line they were defined. I have a tentative patch to add that support but it comes with caveats so before going through review I'd like to get consensus on whether those caveats are acceptable. == The problem == The problem with matching variables defined on the same line is that the matching is done separately from checking the numeric relation, because numeric relation cannot be expr...

A function for random test based on longest run (UNCLASSI FIED)
Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE Thanks for your quick response. The program you mentioned below available from R is based on number of runs (up or down) not based on a longest length of runs of same events. To be more specific, for example, from a series, HHTHTTTTHHH, the number of runs are 5, and the longest length of r...

FileCheck: using numeric variable defined on same line with caveats

I also think the CHECK-DAG example is not one to care about. It seems to me that there's no guarantee what CHECK-D...

[LLVMdev] reg_iterator Caveats

I just started looking at using reg_iterators elsewhere but wasn't aware of this non-SSA caveat. Can you elaborate? -Dave -------------------------------------------------------

Replacing a Samba 3.0 Domain controller
For many months I've been trying to replace a Samba 3.0 Domain Controller with a version that will support Windows 7. Despite advice on Samba HOWTO that all supported versions will support Windows 7 there seems to be an unstated caveat, namely that it must be configured as an Active Directory Domain Controller. Microsoft's own advice is that Windows 7 will not work with a Windows NT domain controller and is not intended to do so. By itself, that would not be an obstacle, but there another (stated) caveat that running AD and...

To answer the first question, the first CHECK-DAG would fail to match altogether since the regex would match 10 12 as...

The basic issue is that if you loop over uses or defs of a register, it will return *all* the uses/defs of that register in the current function. If the value is SSA form, it is reasonable to say
