Advice needed on awkward tables
Dear r-help list members,
I am quite new to R, and hope to seek advice from you about a problem I have
been cracking my head over. Apologies if this seems like a simple problem.
I have essentially two tables. The first (Table A) is a standard patient
clinicopathological data table, where rows correspond to patient IDs and
columns correspond to clinical features. Records in this table are stored

Matrix interesting question!
hi,
I have been trying to do this in R (have implemented it in Excel) but I have
been using a very inefficent way (loops etc.). I have matrix A (columns are
years and ages are rows) and matrix B (columns are birth yrs and rows are
ages)
I would like to first turn matrix A into matrix B
And then I would like to convert matrix B back again to the original matrix
