Global Catalogue
Hello..
Can we promote the Samba AD DC (Version 4.6) to be a global catalogue
server? We need to integrate Websense Proxy with this and Proxy server
searches Global Catalogue on Port 3268.

Terminology
Hello folks,
I''ve blended/updated the Glossary of Terms
(<http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/GlossaryOfTerms>). It seems
the definition of "manifests" is a bit different amongst members.
Some people consider a "manifest" to be a configuration file written in
puppet, e.g. any .pp file. But at my organization, we''ve considered the

odfWeave - A loop of the "same" data
Before I go and do this another way - can I check if anyone has a way of looping through data in odfWeave (or possibly sweave) to do a repeating analysis on subsets of data?
For simplicity lets use mtcars dataset in R to explain. Dataset looks like this:
> mtcars

Saab Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) hangs upon startup
Isn't that an ole problem?
Have similar problem with Writers Blocks. That's a simple program and all it really does is move blocks of plain text around using ole.

Hi,
We provide DC Host's IP address and port as 3268 and user DN of
administrator as CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=ktkbank,DC=com and supply
password. But proxy reports "unable to connect to directory".
However, the Proxy's Content Gateway is a member of AD DC and it uses
integrated windows authentication.

Saab Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC)
Hello everyone,
I am trying to get Saab's Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) to work with Wine. This is the only program I need running on Windows and stops me from fully enjoying the Linux. I'm running FC 9 with Wine v1.0. The installation of the program was very smoothly with no issues at all. However it fails to start - hangs when the main screen is supposed to show. I am getting

sysdata.rda vs. rda files in data directory
Dear developeRs,
my package FrF2.catlg128 holds large catalogues and is supposed to gain
additional ones. All the catalogues are intended for the user.
So far, the catalogues were stored in the data directory, and LazyData
was "no". I understand that this is not considered wise any more (if it
ever was), so that I want to change to LazyData "yes" with the next
release

strange share violation
hello there !
I have one problem. We have a catalogue on a CD which is being used
frequently so it's copied on a Novell network. But now we have to move
it on a Samba box. But when two (or more) users try to run it, the
second user (and all the rest) gets a message that the program
couldn't access one file. The first user runs it perfectly.
Here is a snippet from a log file:

Production ecommerce sites?
Hi All
First post and its a question of Rails abilities. I was wondering if their
are any examples of a Rails application driving an ecommerce shop site.
Selling a catalogue of products? We''re looking at starting our first major
Rails project at work and wanted to gather some examples to sell to the MD
as PHP is becoming a drag and there''s so much more possibility in Rails.
