Sieve "OOO" configuration
I am able to get sieve issuing an "out of office"message correctly. However, I want to configure it to send an "OOO" message only during certain dates, say on weekends, or only between certain hours. I can do that manually; however, was wondering if there is any automatic method available that could handle this chore. Thanks! -- Jerry

[Fwd: Re: mixed models for analyzing survey data with unequal selection probability]
Hi, All Thanks to Robert Baskin, Thomas Lumley, and Spencer Graves for the valuable helps. I have learned a lot from this discussion. I put all discussions together without editing, so we can see how things are evolved. Likely, I have a lot of articles to read. As in the discussion, mixed modeling approach is a poosible but may be over-kill in my posted data analyses. I will explore other

Case sensitivity in :addresses in sieve vacation scripts
Hi, I have recently updated from Dovecot 2.2 to 2.3. Since I have noticed that vacation responses from sieve are not working the same anymore. For example, my sieve script looks like this: vacation :days 1 :addresses ["Kippels at hhu.de","julian.kippels at hhu.de"] it used to be that I got a vacation response if I sent a mail to kippels at hhu.de and Kippels at hhu.de. Now

Fatal error with IMAP MOVE from a shared mailbox to Trash folder
...ome up when trying to move FROM a folder for which the user doesn't have the EXPUNGE ACL. It doesn't have to be a shared folder (and in my case, it is not a shared folder.) My workaround is to not advertise the MOVE capability, but long-term, it's better to fix the crash. V/r, James Cassell

Sieve subaddress matching
Hello Stephan, Maybe this is not an issue at all and nothing but a curiosity; maybe though you do care: When there is only a local part in "To", the "subaddress" extension does not match on the "detail" part. This happened when I made a device on the LAN send to "name+foo", where "name" is a system account on the computer used as smtp. Such

Case sensitivity in :addresses in sieve vacation scripts
...he Vacation RFC, it should fallback to case-insensitive: https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5230 You could try working around the issue by adding to your `vacation` statement: `:comparator "i;ascii-casemap"` -- but in any case, I'd file a bug about the non-standard behavior. doveadm acl set negative rights not supported?
Hi all, I'm trying to set an ACL with negative rights. I have no problems setting it with standard IMAP commands, but I'm unable to do it with the doveadm acl command. I tried: sudo -u vmail doveadm acl set -u "user at domain" Spam user="-user at domain" lookup (notice the "-" before the username) Unfortunately, this adds a (positive) ACL for the user

Fatal error with IMAP MOVE from a shared mailbox to Trash folder
Hello everyone. I have a problem using Dovecot 2.2.26 with ACL plugin and deleting e-mails from a shared mailbox. My user doesn't have the "expunge" permission on the shared mailbox, but it has the "write-deleted" permission. So, when I delete a message from the shared mailbox using a client that implements the IMAP MOVE command, it tries to move the message to my Trash

Duplicate e-mail with Dovecot and Sieve
Hi everyone, we have a duplicate e-mail problem with Dovecot 2.2.13 (LMTP as MDA) on a Debian 8 server. Our users are on external LDAP. We just need to setup a vacation responder (with Sieve) for our employees with a redirect to an alias (a distribution list), let's call it /LIST at domain.com/, that comprehends even the user that just activated the out of office. This generates a

[PATCH 00/22] Some documentation fixes
Fix several warnings and broken links. This series was generated against linux-next, but was rebased to be applied at docs-next. It should apply cleanly on either tree.
