mgcv problem to load
...on. Th emessage on the screen is the following:
This is mgcv 1.6-1. For overview type `help("mgcv-package")'.

no possible to load a package correctly dowloaded by the R prompt

But, when I type the command:
>library(untb)
I cannot open the package getting the message below (which I translate under brackets):

Problem with tcl/tk and Rcmdr - urgent help required

The language is in italian but it basically says it cannot load shared
library.
x11 is running, the file tcltk.so phisically exists (i have checked myself)
and both R and X11 are in their last updated version.
I have also tried restarting after updating X11. Can someone try to help me?

I have install the last version 2.10 and now I have probles with 'mgcv' which can be load. I proved to eliminated and reinstalled but always obtain the same message:
