Very HUGE binaries!?

would like to know what changed from version 3.0.11 to 3.0.12 that causes
such HUGE binaries even if the --enable-debug is supposed to be "NO" by
default?? (I even triend "configure --disable-degug" with no results).

Problems connecting to samba shares from w2k or XP system after configuring smb.conf file...
I modified my smb.conf file according to an old doc I found online and
I'm having problems logging in from either of my XP or NT boxes to
access the shares on the linux box. I can see the samba linux server in
My Network Places. I get the following error if trying to connect after
navigating to it from My Network Places:

I'm new-Win XP slow with Samba server
Hello to all all all :-),
I'm new in this mailing list and I would like to ask you a question, please.
I have a lan with a samba server version 2.2.3a-12.3 on a linux debian system.
All client in the net can connect fast to the samba server (win98/2000) but only client with windows xp
connect them very slowly to the server and only the first time.
After 5/10 minutes they connect to smb server

Samba 3.0.4: some problems with SWAT/STATUS and smbstatus

I just installed Samba 3.0.4 on a Solaris 2.6 server. I had no
problem compiling, intalling and configuring it, and everything seems to go
OK. People can connect to all the configured shares without any problem.
