WG: [Ocfs-users] Compiling OCFS 1.0.13 on kernel 2.6.8?
Sorry for cross posting, but I somehow came to think that this question might possibly be more suitable in this mailinglist. I am currently fiddeling around with Fedora Core 2. Does anyone of you have any pointers on where to start reading to compile OCFS 1.0.13 on a 2.6.8 kernel? Is it at all possible? Smart-UPS RT 3000 Baud Rate
I have been running a Smart-UPS RT 3000 VA using nut successfully over the 940-0095B cable for a couple of years. I have just received a second unit, but it is slightly different in 3 ways that I have found so far. 1. It's a Smart-UPS RT 3000 XL 2. The 940-0095B cable now uses an RJ45 connector at the UPS end. 3. It now requires a baud rate of 9600 instead of the 2400 used previously.

Latest CentOS does not boot, Proliant ML330 G6
Hello all. I just upgraded to the latest and tried to reboot: kernel panic and dead as a brick. Luckily GRUB still works and booting the to the next option in boot menu succeeds. How can this be? This OS is assumed to be solid as a brick :) br. jarif -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Name: signature.asc Type: application/pgp-signature Size: 195

So, what about clustering and load balancing?
Hello world, so, with beta2 of Dovecot 2.0 being available, what is the preferred way to achieve load balancing and fault tolerance? As far as I can see it, there are basically two options: 1) Use a HA shared storage, export either a cluster filesystem or NFS, and have your dovecot servers mount that file system. Load balance these servers (Cisco ACE, ldirectord, ...) and there you go. Overall

Samba very, VERY slow ...
Hello ! I've installed serveral servers under Linux in my association with samba on it, without any problem. But, for the latest application we need to use, samba has to share about 800 borland data files. All goes right, but the systeme (P3-800Mhz-256Mo RAM for 8 users) is very, VERY slow (about 40 second to open the application). I've take a look at the system use, even when a client

[RFC] The reflink(2) system call.
Hi everyone, I described the reflink operation at the Linux Storage & Filesystems Workshop last month. Originally implemented as an ocfs2-specific ioctl, the consensus was that it should be a syscall from the get-go. Here's some first-cut patches. For people who have not seen reflink, either at LSF or on the ocfs2 wiki, the first patch contains Documentation/filesystems/reflink.txt to
