Problems with chan-capi
Hi,
i have a debian-system with the asterisk 1:0.9-1 packages and chan-capi
0.3.1-2 installed.
My chan-capi seems to be out-of-order.
Capi and I4l work in general.
I can use isdnlog and capi4hylafax.
Using chan_modem_i4l with the sam context work fine too.
But no incoming calls are answered by asterisk over chan-capi.
If have 2 isdn-card: a passive avm a1 (i4l/hisax) and a active avm b1 (capi).
I also tried the 1.0-1 asterisk packages from debian testing.
Please help

Diva Server PRI/E1-30
Hello,
Can I use the Diva Server PRI/E1-30 card with asterisk (with chan_capi or
i4linux) ?
If asterisk detect a fax, how divert the call to the onboard DSP ?
How can I handle the fax with hylafax (capi or pseudo serial device ?)
Thank you,

Other alternatives except analog fax units?

Using Asterix and Hylafax with Eicon DIVA E1
Hi,
I would like to set up a high density FAX/PBX server, am looking at using
Eicon Diva E1 card with Asterisk and Hylafax sharing channels, is this
possible. I know Extensions can be reserved for voice OR fax with the
combination of chan_capi used for * voice, capi4hylafax on fax but then
channels must be dedicated rather than shared ie. would like to be able to
answer voice/fax on same DID. This is high density solution 30channel
FAX/Voice. Is there a solution which anybody uses which gets round this
limitation. Would also like to hear any usefull comments +/- on a...

Does spandsp work with capi channels ?
Hi,
if not, what are my options (beside dedicating one line to capi4hylafax).
I'd like to cover faxes and voice on same channells - is this impossible
with capi ?
Thanks,
Rob.

AVM Fritz! mISDN with Kernel 2.6.32 - Any experiences?
Hi to all asterisk-users ;)
As some of you may know, Kernel 2.6.32 includes a module for the
infamous Fritz passive ISDN cards in conjunction with mISDN.
I just would like to know if anybody has tried to use a Fritz card as a
BRI adapter for Asterisk with the new module. If so, i would be grateful
for some hints or howtos.
I am willing to try this myself, but i am quite reluctant as i have

rxfax trouble on bristuffed capi
Hi all,
My BRIstuffed 0.2.0-RC7k is running fine on my debian box for voice calls
over ISDN2.
Now I want to implement receiving incoming faxes into my setup so I did a
google and some reading on the wiki.
I got the spandsp 0.0.2pre10 package compiled and installed, patched
asterisk's apps makefile and compiled * again.
This all worked out fine.
When integrating the RxFax into my dialplan the

enter the command capi info on the command line i get back:

Fax
Hi all !
Let's say you have about 6 small different companies sharing the same E1
/ Asterisk server, and every company needs its own fax number. Since
they don't really need fax machines, what would be the most
cost-effective way to handle this (keeping fax-privacy at its best) ?
Is there a way to configure Hylafax or sth & one modem behind an ATA-186
to email faxes to different
