Is wine reporting the right value for MaxVertexBlendMatrices ?
Hi, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but sorry if
not, and I'd like to be pointed to the right one (I was unable to post
it in devel one)
I have been working last weeks on making the game Everquest to work
under wine, since 0.9.49 it was working flawlesly, but most models
were not shown properly. This corresponds with bug

CPU Model detection with virsh capabilities
Hello everybody,
I am a new user discovering libvirt with KVM software. During my first
VM creation, I saw an issue with virsh that I can't understand.
I wanted to emulate another CPU than the classical qemu32 using virsh.
So I used the virsh capabilites command to detect how is detected my CPU
host which is an Intel Xeon E5410 and my problem is that this CPU is
detected only with the

Finding out CPU topology.
Hi all,
I have been trying to find out cpu topology using libvirt. When
I do 'virsh capabilites', I find this inside <topology> tag:

PAE panic on nv75a / Tecra M2
Attempting to boot xVM dom0 for the first time on a Toshiba Tecra M2
running 75a.
Getting a panic immediately after selecting xVM from the grub menu:
panic[cpu0]/thread=f502c020: Processor does not support PAE
This is a 2000 MHz Pentium-M, which I thought was PAE-capable.

Problem with capabilities() in R2-8.1
I just installed R 2.8.1 on Windows XP. When I ran the "source" command,
I got the error:
Error in capabilities("iconv") :
1 argument passed to .Internal(capabilities) which requires 0
I looked at the code for source and it indeed has a call to
capabilities("iconv")
if (capabilities("iconv")) {
if (identical(encoding, "unknown"))

Questions on musiconhold.conf custom mode
Hello,
I need to play some musiconhold content starting at a random duration
from the start.
Thanks to mode=custom option and either madplay or mpg123 programs, I
could successfully get what I was after on a Debian Wheezy system.
Now I realized sox version on my target system (Debian Squeeze) cannot
convert to MP3 format.
So I'm looking after workarounds.

volume can't be attached after libvirt upgrade
Hi,
My nova-compute nodes was running libvirt 0.9.13 and QEMU 1.0, after
libvirt was upgraded to 1.2.2, the VMs launched by libvirt 0.9.13 can't
attach volume any more, i.e. "nova volume-attach <vm-uuid> <volume-uuid>"
doesn't work. But before the libvirt upgrade, the same VM can attach volume
disk.
I did some debuging and find that, it failed in QEMU when try to

Automating message archiving
Hallo,
I recently stumple over some discussion about Sieve and what's the
advantage to integrate it into the server rather than the LDA.
Most of the filtering capabilites local users want to have performed are
related to the INBOX or more preciesly the way to filter the message
coming in.
However, there are few tasks left:
1) Auto-archive old mail.
2) Drop old mail.
3) "Seen"

compiling 2.7.0 GNU/Linux | BLAS & Lapack query
Greetings -
For a host of reasons I chose (was forced) to upgrade my multi-Opteron box
from Fedora 7 -> Fedora 8. In the process, I also updated the ACML I had
installed from 4.0.0 to 4.1.0.
While I get no errors (that I can find) in the config -> make -> make
install sequence, I'm pretty sure (based on some benchmarks) that I'm not
getting BLAS and/or Lapack to compile in. So,

PDNS
Does anyone have experience with PDNS?
The reason I ask is that I have never heard of it before today, but it looks
like we might want to leverage its sql backend capabilites.
My (useless) searches lead me to:

Needed: Understading runif() output :-)
Dear all,
I have been trying to understand what runif() is telling me.
I am generating lots of numbers (billions and billions (wow, I''ve dreamed
about saying that for many years... :-) ), for a distribution that has the
following quantile function:
1 / (2 * sqrt(1 - p))
(that is, the distribution has a lower cutoff)
As you can imagine, this has rather heavy upper tail. I was

libvirt-sandbox question.
I hope this question isn't considered too off topic for this list, I am
trying to reach the libvirt-sandbox developers, but I could not find a
libvirt-sandbox specific mailing list, and it seemed to me that
libvirt-sandbox was a part of libvirt itself.
I am trying to port libvirt-sandbox to run on a CentOS 6.5 system. This
wasn't too hard but, I had to do the following:

Policy routing with IPFW
Hi There,
I've been having an issue trying to figure out a way to policy route
outbound packets from a multihomed machine through the proper interface
using IPFW to no avail.
I've tried several different incantations of IPFW fwd/forward
statements, and none of them seem to do the trick.
Basically, I have a host that has multiple Internet connections. This
host is running FreeBSD 4.9
