our samba machine got three NIC => 10.0.0.1/8, 192.168.0.1/16,
210.66.105.10/24
and got 2 netbios name in the network. CAMER(for share mode).
CAMLOGON(for user mode).
it acts as a wins server and logon server. it works fine.
client from 10.x.x.x will know CAMER & CAMLOGON as 10.0.0.1,
client from 192.168.x.x will know CAMER & CAMLOGON as 192.168.0.1
but a few days ago, we cut 192.168.x.x to several class...

i search the archive for the problem, and find some discussion about
"multi home samba", but there seems no result about that thread.

we cut 192.168.0.0 to several class c networks. so client from there
must
connect samba server through a gateway. for example:
client1(192.168.22.18) <--> gw(192.168.22.254)...

odd issue with ipmitool
Got an older server running 6.5. I've been fighting it - I have two
webcams for surveillance of the room; one works with motion, but it
resizes the picture down
Adjusting resolution from 640x480 to 360x296
and the video's dark and bad contrast. So I went back to the camer I'd
been using before that worked fine... on CentOS 5.x, and then I remembered
why I'd gone to the other camera - the bottom 40% of so of the screen is
green - no picture, just green.
Doing a *lot* of googling, I saw references to this, and a number of folks
suggesting problems with USB me...
