[Bug 1995] New: RequestTTY=no in config doesn't work if stdin is not a tty
...s performed before reading config file. I think that init log output, read per-user config, fill defaults and log reinit should be put just after buffer_init(...). Such fix has been tested and it seems to be working fine, but I may overlooked some (corner) cases, so please look at my solution in a cagey manner. Thanks. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching the assignee of the bug.

coxph diagnostics plot for shape of hazard function?
...'m studying the survival rate of a population with a preexisting linear-like event rate (there are theoretical reasons to believe it's linear, but of course it's subject to the usual sampling noise) Some of the population exhibit predictor X and some don't [I'm not trying to be cagey about the setting here, it's just complicated to explain and I'm trying to keep my message short.] When I plot the survival curves, there's a qualitatively significant difference and this is confirmed by survdiff. When I run cox.zph, however, it's pretty clear that the proportional...

Designing a Pilot Puppet Infrastructure - Have Questions.
Hi all, I''ve been following the puppet project for a while now and I think it''s starting to become mature enough to be used in a pilot project at my corp. I have a few questions: 1. What is the current largest known number of Puppet managed hosts? 2. What are the average network demands on a single puppet master? 3. Has Oracle ever been managed by Puppet? 3a. Has Oracle ever

I'm interested in the methodology for creating a fixed point > implementation and guaging how "good" it is relative to the floating > point golden standard My methodology at this stage is to get it working on the floating point DSP first and to gain recent experience in both Speex and the TI DSP range while I do so. Then I'll enter into serious discussions about

Echo on a PRI
Hi, I recently set up the following in a production system (2.8 GHZ Xeon, 1 Gig Memory, Dell 2650). Telco - PRI - Asterisk - T1 - PBX I am getting an occasional noticeable echo on some of the phone lines (random inbound and outbound). Everyone I ask keeps telling me that I can't be having echo since I am on a PRI, which is a digital circuit. Ok, so I can't be having echo, but I am!

[LLVMdev] Finding safe thread suspension points while JIT-ing (was: Add pass run listeners to the pass manager.)
Sounds good. Lets get started by nailing down the C API and semantics for this first. I mirrored the C API for the LLVM context diagnostic handler and used Andy’s suggested name for the callback. The opaque handle was suggested by Duncan and can provide optional user specified information that is provided back during the callback (i.e. barrier, etc). Cheers, Juergen Core.h: typedef void
