Bullet-proof FXO?
...run into nasty issues at
times. I'm looking at moving one of my offices and am in the market for
a solution for connecting 4 FXOs. I got excited about recent offerings
from Digium and Sangoma in the way of new cards but I hear they're
causing troubles for more than a few. What's the Cadillac in this
market?

BRI Newbie - What Hardware, PCI, in the US?
...that are out there. Given
that we are in the US, and want to use BRI to improve sound quality (no
echo, no static), what would be some good cards to look at? I hear a lot
about BRIStuff, which I think is used on the Junghanns cards (like the
quadBRI PCI ISDN), using the CAPI channel. Are those the Cadillac of ISDN
cards?

RE: ACI appraisal program "freezes" when accessing SAMBA shares
...tware called Appraiser's Toolbox/Clickforms by Bradford Technologies. I've actually used ACI in the past and was very happy with it. I am actually getting ready order it to replace Clickforms. Have you really had that many problems? FYI, I demo'd Alamode, which is supposed to be the Cadillac of Appraisal Software and it was great until I tried to utilize it as a server-only software, at which point it bogged down so bad that I demanded my money back.
Good Luck,

FreePBX & AAH
Does anyone know if FreePBX can be installed on a Linux box that was built
using Asterisk@Home. I would prefer to manage Asterisk with FreePBX over
the AAH build. I have just not had good luck building an Asterisk system
from scratch and the Centos based Amp ISO and prebuilt config files are a
wonderful place to start. Nothing against Asterisk or Linux. My build from
scratch issues are only

GUI Input Forms
I have been inputting my data into text files using a text
editor on a Windows 2000 PC.
I would like to create a front end form that does validation
on the fly to reduce the errors in my input and make it
possible for family members that are not into computers
to help me out with data input tasks.
I assume that my form program would translate the
input into a text file which I would then read

Mac OS X or Windows?
Hey,
I know it''s a basic question and I do not want a discussion about
which one is the best in general, I only want to know which OS you''d
recomment for programing in Rails and to do webdesign.
Maybe you can also tel me why you think so?
Regards,
zok

System Design
Hey Everyone,
We are in the works of planning a new * installation for our company.
We have 20 users in our main office and 5 users in a remote office a
couple of states away. Our call volume for the main office will be
anywhere from 5-10 concurrent calls. The remote office will have about
3 heavy users with two users making calls occasionally.
Right now we have an existing PBX. We have a

I need a second opinion on a new phone system deployment
Howdy All,
They say opinions are like belly buttons, everybody has one. (that's
the "clean" version of the saying). So I'm asking for yours. I hope you
see it as a fun exercise.
I'm designing a phone system from the ground up. Will be about 1000-1300
seats mixed 80/20 VoIP/Analog. 58-acre campus environment with 23
buildings. Userbase is emergency services
