Note that c1t0d0s0 was on the old system, and that it''s now the (wiped clean) c8t0d0s0. Any clues are, as always, welcome. I''d prefer not to restore my saved zfs-send streams, so I''d like to get the import of...

USB sticks show on one set of devices in zpool, different devices in format
.../pci at 0,0/pci103c,31fe at 1d,7/storage at 8/disk at 0,0
5. c11t0d0 <Kingston-DataTraveler2.0-1.00 cyl 1958 alt 2 hd 255 sec 63>
/pci at 0,0/pci103c,31fe at 1d,7/storage at 6/disk at 0,0
Specify disk (enter its number): 4
selecting c8t0d0
[disk formatted]
/dev/dsk/c8t0d0s0 is part of active ZFS pool rpool. Please see zpool(1M).
It shows my two USB sticks of the rpool being at c8t0d0 and c11t0d0... !
How is this system even working? What do I need to do to clear this up...?
Thanks for your time,
-Bill

Expand zpool capacity
...t see , that the capacity of the disk was increased.
How do i make new unallocated free-space on my vhdd visible/usable for osol ?!
I''ve olready tried to do:
zpool add -f rpool c8t0d0
but get an error:
invalid vdev specification
the following errors must be manually repaired:
/dev/dsk/c8t0d0s0 is part of active ZFS pool rpool. Please see zpool(1M).
I attach some logs (zfs list, zpool list and zpool status -v)
So. What should I do first?
P.S. Sorry for my English.

Banging my head against a Seagate 3TB USB3 drive.
Its marketing name is:

Under both Solaris 10 and Solaris 11x, I receive the evil message:

Can I create a mirror for a root rpool?
On Solaris 10 If I install using ZFS root on only one drive is there a way
to add another drive as a mirror later? Sorry if this was discussed
already. I searched the archives and couldn''t find the answer. Thank you.
