Speex and C5510
Hi,
I'm use a DSP C5510 to implement a solution with voice, but I'm a
beginner in the world of DSP, any one has a example or documents about
how to use a speex in DSP's ????
Thanks.

You should be able to load, build, and run this with no effort except to get the audio file locations to match the paths in testenc-TI-C5x.c. Changing the target to C5510 should be very easy. The work will come when you interface Speex to your real hardware, replacing the file I/O with your audio interfaces.
Note that this build works with raw 16-bit mono audio files. Also, it runs Speex at quality level 3 (8kbps) with no echo canceler or preprocessor. If your t...

I've had floating decoding running on a C5510.

Any chip in the Blackfin range, or just certain ones?

Can you be more specific about which C55x chips it has run on?

Supported DSPs
It would be great to get some idea of what chips and DSPs people have
tried to compile Speex for, and what success they've had.
So, if you've tried Speex on a chip, could you take a second to fill in
the following and post it to the list?
Chip Name:
Speex Version:
Floating or Fixed:
Encode, Decode, Both or Simultaneous:
MIPS (if known):

Speex for TI 5509 DSP
I saw a thread in the list archives about a speex port to TI 55x DSP.
Wondering how that worked out (is working out)?
Also wondering if there is a source archive for it,
or if the patch in the email archives is still current, or if there's been
updates.
Any info appreciated.
Thanks
Paul
