Boxplot in order
Hi,
I need construct box plot graph, but I want keep Groups
order
karla = data.frame(
Groups =
factor(rep(c('CPre','SPre','C7','S7','C14','S14','C21','S21'),
11)),
Time = rep(c(0,7,14,21), 11),
Resp = valor
)
boxplot(Resp~Groups, order=T)
doesn't work.
How do this?

Multiple regression in R - unstandardised coefficients are a different sign to standardised coefficients, is this correct?
Hello,
I have a statistical problem that I am using R for, but I am not making
sense of the results. I am trying to use multiple regression to explore
which variables (weather conditions) have the greater effect on a local
atmospheric variable. The data is taken from a database that has 20391 data
points (Z1).
A simplified version of the data I'm looking at is given below, but I have

Measure of separation for survival data
...and where n is the sample size and _pi = 3.141592654 ...
4. In case of ties in the original xb, substitute average zi's over each of the tied sets.
5. Perform regression (e.g. Cox) on z = z1,...,zn.
I can obviously do steps 1 and 2:
# step 1 #
cox1 <- cph(Surv(stime1,eind1)~adat1+bdat1+c11+c21)
c1dat <- cox1$linear.predictors
# step 2 #
ris <- rank(c1dat,ties.method="minimum")
Can anyone advise how I might invoke the inverse normal. I thought 'qnorm' may be an option but I'm lacking the necessary parameters within the framework above.
Many thanks,
Laura...

Weighted packet shaping?
Hi all,
Im new to all this, and am still trying to get my head qround some of the
concepts of how this all works.
Ive read the howto''s, man pages etc.
Ive setup packet shaping on my router/server box using HTB and SFQ, but its not
working the way i would like.
Im after shaping that has "weights" for classes so that a lower priority class
will slow down when a higher class
