lib/debug.c:reopen_logs(349)
...this error happens only with shares connected with the W2K TS machine and then only after a certain amount of users have logged on. Typically some sort of limit has been reached.. but which? Our migration to W2K depends on this! *grins* Regards Per Kjetil Grotnes --- IT-Seksjonen, Plan- og bygningsetaten, Oslo Kommune Tlf: 22 66 26 61, Fax: 22 66 26 65

win95 + linux oplock error, even with kernel oplocks = no.
Hi all, I've posted a similar message a few weeks ago. I had the 'oplock' problem. I run a linux server with samba (specification below). I get a reply who told me to disable kernel oplocks and oplocks. I did exactly what he told me to do. I hoped it worked... but it did not... From there one i started reading in the archives and followed the 'lock' discussions in this list.

...ion(62) yield_connection: tdb_delete failed with error Record does not exist. Sounds serious to me. Records should exist right? Where have they gone? :-) Should I worry? This is a map-server with few, but heavy chunks of transfer bursts.
