SELinux in CentOS 6
It keeps butting in when I try to install map software from Garmin
under Wine. I'm not nearly competent not willing to apply the remedy it
suggests. How do I get to someplace where I can disable it, or at least
set it to permissive?

Complete Linux newbie!
Hi, I've finally, after much deliberation, taken the plunge and installed Suse
9.1 onto one of my PCs at home - why I never did it sooner I didn't really
know until I came to "install" Wine; now I'm pretty comfortable with Windows
and "thought" things would be pretty much the same with Linux - first
mistake!
Anyway, I'm hoping that someone will be able to

ices file name problem
I have a collection fo mp3s that I wish to stream.
They came from a windows environment and when ripped
they used spaces in the files names.
When I prepare a file list with the spaces on the linux box it works
fine with
mpg123 and muse buts spits out error messages from ices and continues
to cycle
through the playlist until I break out of ices.

I have installed spamassassin, per the instructions on Scalix's wiki,

the spamassassin user list, and got some, but I think I am butting up
against some Centos specific issues...

ggpairs in GGally replaces plotmatrix in ggplot2
Hi Keith,,
ggpairs(dat1, upper = list(continuous = "density", combo = "box"))
appears to be what you want.

Define 6.1 and 7.1 channel mappings
Tim's proposal seems reasonable but it conflicts with the FLAC documentation that says the channel ordering follows SMPTE/ITU-R recommendations. I think we may be butting up against an area where the standards aren't clear. ITU-R BS.2159-4 (http://www.itu.int/dms_pub/itu-r/opb/rep/R-REP-BS.2159-4-2012-PDF-E.pdf) doesn't define a 7.1 layout but simply diagrams several possibilities on

Actually it does. There is no more obvious head butting than with
strong passwords vs usability. Strong login passwords and usability
are diametrically opposed.

tracking user activity - Active Directory
Hello,
Some mischief happened and I have been asked if I can find out who was
logged into their computers within a specific off-hours time frame. My
logs for that time frame happened to be running at debug level 3, so I
have been looking through them and trying to figure out how to recognize
a workstation login. I find lines beginning with

Redhat vs Mandrake.
My thoughts on this after reading Steven's very politically worded reply is that IMO your best bet would be to go with RedHat, I am not going to go into details about the if's, when's, why's, and but's..
I am running Asterisk quite well on RedHat 9 and if you like I have created an install guide for setting up an Asterisk box on RedHat 9 which I can send to you if you are

R-help Digest, Vol 124, Issue 12
Folks,
Sorry for butting in here. I ran the code from John Kane below and it worked fine.
I did however get a deprecation message suggesting the use of ggpairs from the GGally package to make this chart.
Unfortunately I haven't found the correct incantation to get the diagonal to display the density plots using the "diag" parameter.
Any suggestions?
