Stats help with calculating between and within subject variance and confidence intervals
Hello. I'm trying to find a way in R to calculate between and within subject variances and confidence intervals for some analytical method development data. I've found a reference to a method in Burdick, R. K. & Graybill, F. A. 1992, Confidence Intervals on variance components, CRC Press. This example is for Balanced Data confidence interval calculation from Pg 62. The data are fill weights from bottles sampled randomly from a sample of four filling machines. Cannot Join Samba 4.1 to an existing Windows 2008 domain as a Backup DC
Hi Everybody, I'm stumped. I'm pretty sure I've tried everything to get this to work. I'm trying to join my CentOS 6 server to my Server 2008 AD Domain. I'm using SerNet's samba4 packages: [root at files ~]# samba -V Version 4.1.4-SerNet-RedHat-7.el6 I've done the xattr and acl tests and they all come out just fine. The Windows DNS Manager snap-in can connect to the Samba DC but it can't view the records, see attached image: 2.) I have delegations under my main zone that aren't being handled by the Samba DC. I have tested

Hi, I came across the strangest issue I have no idea how it happened. In my development environment, I created a new migration and model that uses a couple of decimal column types (among others). Everything works great with sqlite and the development environment, business as usual. However, I deployed to production and for some completely unknown reason, this particular table (only this one)

openSUSE / Samba 4 / Mac Client / Missing Folders & Files
Hi, all. I am running a server in my house that has been operating for years. It is currently at openSUSE 13.1, fully patched as of yesterday. Samba 4.1.22 is installed and working fine for Windows clients. Generally, my MacBook (El Capitan - 10.11.12) is able to access the server as I need it to. Recently, I attempted to access my music repository to copy it off of the server and onto my Mac so
