Last login fields
Hey guys,
Wondering if anyone has tried to do this before - a last
login timestamp field. Using mysql for auth, I figured it would be easy
enough to add a timestamp field and then tack an UPDATE statement on the end
of the password_query. But of course, dovecot sees this as only one
statement to pass to MySQL - of which MySQL barfs at..
Any ideas on how to achieve this ?

Dovecot for Gentoo portage
...d for 0.99.9.1 to bugzilla:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22080
It includes the CR+LF patch. Should be trivial to update for .10 when
it makes an appearance :-).
Feel free to fix/improve this ebuild - I'm fairly new at them.
Zach.

0.99.10-test13
http://dovecot.procontrol.fi/test/
- Hopefully OpenSSL is fixed :)
- We sometimes produced invalid ENVELOPE with 8bit headers. That could
really have broken things (broke it in test12).
So, what's left is to make PAM work well..

Calling gentoo maintainers
If anyone knows someone with CVS access can they please take another
look at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=22080. It has been in
bugzilla for nearly nine months. Would like to see this in portage -
masked is fine - so at least everyone is working off the same file.
Cheers
Zach.

0.99.10 released
No bug reports since rc4, so here it is.
v0.99.10 2003-06-26 Timo Sirainen <tss at iki.fi>
* Default PAM service name changed to "dovecot". This means that
if you're using PAM, you most likely have to do
mv /etc/pam.d/imap /etc/pam.d/dovecot
If you wish to keep using imap, see doc/auth.txt.
* ~/rawlog directory changed to ~/dovecot.rawlog

Logging client commands (patch)
This might be useful to someone so I'll throw it out there.
Patch against 1.0.5 adds support for two new configuration params:
pop3_debug_client_commands = TOP, RETR, DELE
imap_debug_client_commands = FETCH, DELETE
Obviously add in whichever ones you're interested in, or none, or
comment them out completely.
It'll log the appropriate events:

IPSec tunnel mode with IKE daemon
Hi all.
The IPSec part of the LARTC howto is great, but I''ve hit a problem in
7.3. IPSEC tunnels. The example given is for manual keying:
add 10.0.0.216 10.0.0.11 esp 34501
-m tunnel
-E 3des-cbc "123456789012123456789012";
How does one setup "tunnel mode" using racoon?
Trying to setup an ipsec tunnel between two subnets: 10.10.42.0/24 and
10.1.1.0/24 using a
