Re: R-Help List Transmit Time
...ve even longer delays... Note that there are
currently about 870 subscribers to R-help (plus ~170 to R-help-digest).
I still hope that this will be improved ``real soon now'' when
our mail server will get much more "power" dedicated to sendmail
and/or also by using a version of bulkmail..
on the other hand, it's not so bad if people get time to think
sometimes even before posting .. :-)

Don''t forget that you can submit jobs with command line arguments:
Bj.submit "./jobs/a.rb 1 foobar --force"
and that you can do powerful things by passing stdin to a job that
powers
through a list of work. For instance, assume a "./jobs/bulkmail" job
resembling
STDIN.each do |line|
address = line.strip
mail_message_to address
end
then you could
stdin = [

"bar-+LBmYUDmh58@public.gmane.org",

How to transfer a call from one Asterisk Server to another
Can anyone tell me how I can completely move an established call off of one
Asterisk server to another?
In our case we have a server with our IVR. Depending upon digits entered,
the call can be transferred to any of our other servers depending where the
extension or queue reside.
We would like to completely move the call off of the first box so we don't
tie up resources on it.

Newsgroup - another try?
As nobody seems to answer my request, I simply post it again.
Is there any reason why the r-help-mailinglist should not be converted to a
newsgroup?
These were the advantages of a newsgroup I mentioned earlier:
-) you can easily search the archives
-) the discussion is faster (I experience that the R-mailinglist has a lag
of about 1 to 2 hours (not for everyone!!!). When I ask a question, I get

Dovecot 2.2.16: disappearing messages, mismatched summaries, duplicated messages, excessive full re-downloads
My Dovecot 2.2.16 server is interacting poorly with a variety of mail
clients. The symptoms include disappearing messages, mismatched summaries,
duplicated messages, and excessive full re-downloads.
Dovecot 2.2.16 on FreeBSD 10.1-release r280247M ZFS is interacting
suboptimally with various email clients. Output of "dovecot -n" further
down.

Asterisk interop with Syndeo
Does anyone have * talking to a Syndeo switch?
I am new to * and trying to get this working.
It appears to have a problem authenticating, but I do not see an
"unauthorized" message.
Then shows the * as a registered end point with an ip of 0.0.0.0
