[LLVMdev] linkage errors while buliding tblgen
Hi, I tried with gcc 4.3 and now tblgen is dumping core during the build. Does anyone have an actual working irix mips build. If so could they please list out the versions of compilers that they used to build their llvm. It seems that every combination I try breaks. Cheers

Buliding a package (on Windows) does not produce libs directory
Dear expeRts! I have produced a package and I would like to compile it on windows to build a binary package. The package also includes Fortran code. This is where I have problems. The package compiles fine, however the Fortran code seams to be ignored. I have the Fortran code in src subdirectory. I have all the compilers installed. Actually, if I compile the Fortran subroutines manually

cvs bulid breaks on slackware
cvs code from this morning (about 9am PST) breaks on slackware 7.1 w/ gcc 2.95.2.1 with an undefined reference to session_setup_sia in session.o. this seems to be the culprit here: #ifdef HAVE_OSF_SIA #else /* HAVE_OSF_SIA */ session_setup_sia(pw->pw_name, ttyname); since i have no idea what that's trying to accomplish (and seems to be a bit backwards to me from looking

How to compile glibc with clang/llvm?
...b. I successfully built compiler-rt but when I typed the command ` clang++ --target=xxx -fprofile-instr-generate -fcoverage-mapping foo.cc -o foo`, the linker failed because of undefined reference to `mmap'/`ftruncate'/`mkdir'. I found these functions are supported by glibc but I cannot bulid glibc with clang/llvm(configure gave me an error “These critical programs are missing or too old: compiler”). So I want to know how can I compile glibc with clang/llvm or are there some WIP patches to help me with this requirement? Thanks, Ruobin.

analysing data with case weights: rejoinder
Hello, Based on replies (which I'm gratefull for) I guess the only solution is to create a package, that will contain function to build lm()-like linear models, and allow weighting cases (as I described two days ago). This would also alow buliding those models for data in aggregated form without a need for using e.g. expand$grid(). Thank you again for replies. ~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~`~,~ Michal Bojanowski mailto:mbojanowski at samba.iss.uw.edu.pl Polish General Social Survey Institute for S...

Q on AJAX with respect to DRY
I have a shopping cart function, and I''d like to set it up to update the cart with AJAX. My AJAX call will return a view that displays the cart items. My question is with regards to keeping things DRY. When the user goes to "view cart", that page needs to display the cart, then the cart display needs to update with AJAX calls when items are added from that page. It would
