Hi I am using Debian source packages from http://xi.rename-it.nl/debian/. When downloading dependencies, I have seen that the package requires MySQL, that I don't use. How could I remove this dependency or chanage them? Is that defined in any file? However, I would like to use SQLite or Postgres to store dict data for the Expire plugin. Where should I enable these flags? Thanks.

Hello! I have writen some subrutines in Free-form Fortran. I would like to includ them in a package, which I would like to build on WinXP. I have all suggested tools/programs for bulding R packages on Windows (except latex). What is the best way of using these subrutines? ...-bit. I have the latest build of mysql installed (mysql-5.1.34-winx64). When trying to load Rmysql, I got a warning that Rmysql is linking to an old-ish mysql build (5.0.67). I could do some basic stuff (the connection works) but it breaks when trying to read a large table. So I set up to use the buld 5.0.67 that Rmysql likes. 10 hrs later and after lots of sysadmin work, I have to call it quits. I couldn't make it work.
