new buildtime dependency qemu-img
After the upgrade from 1.20.9 to .10 my libguestfs package fails to build because qemu-img is not installed. Since qemu is not a hard requirement to build a package I wonder how to fix the tests/data rules so that the targets which call qemu-img depend on "make test" or whatever requires the generated files. What can't now be used is the %{BUILDTIME} embedded in the source RPM that can give you clues as to build order; a git commit of a thousand packages can be atomic and all at the same time. The use of systemd has nothing at all to do with the build difficulty; it's just another package for that purpose; likewise, the new release n...

Help me, where to find layout/language settings
...m working at a live system. But default language of isolinux is, of course, English. In fact, this CD is for educational use in Germany, so it should be completely in German. Is there any possibility to configure language/kerboard-layout in the isolinux folder? I don't mean at runtime, but at buildtime. Thanks for your answers, Lucas Clemente

Ruby-1.9.1+ rpm for CentOS-5
Does anyone have the url of a repository that provides Ruby-1.9.1+ for CentOS-5 and which they consider a trustworthy and reliable source? Use voice onset timing to identify voiceless
In increasing the computation time and bit rate with VBR: Has anyone considered implementing the standard audiological recognition technique of using the duration of zero energy (voice onset timing) to identify the presence of voiceless sounds? I would like a means of determining whether or not a given window will be full of voiced speech or not. Matt -- The swallow may fly south with the sun

Speaking as the original implementator of the LLVM cmake build spec, I couldn't care less about the build time progress indicator. What cmake provides is a single, fairly simple specification that covers lots of platforms and build tools. > If you folks...
