libvirtd for el7
Hi, I see that for EL6 gwd already has pushed a libvirtd package with version 1.2.10[1]. I got request from VDSM development to provide libvirt >= 1.2.9 for EL7 for oVirt 3.6. gwd, do you just rebuilt http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=594825 ? I'm looking at http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=628689 may this work for you? [1] http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=251 -- Sandro Bonazzola Better technology. OCaml 4.09.0 rebuild complete in Rawhide (was: Re: OCaml 4.09.0 will be added to Fedora 32 via a side tag)
...my advise is to use Gtk etc instead. - caml_named_value returns a const pointer. While this is correct, it also broke a couple of our packages and will require upstream fixes. - RISC-V support should be in better shape. status for centos-release-docker and docker packages
I have rpm sources for centos-release-docker at https://github.com/CentOS-virt7/centos-release-docker Some updated packages available on centos-docker-common-testing branch are: docker: http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=9932 atomic: http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=10046 docker-distribution: http://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=9950 I think I need to have the docker testing packages available on buildlogs.c.o. That's probably a task for kb, arrfab? Let me know what next. -- Lokesh Freeno...

PHP FPM issue
Hi Marius, Will make the changes and see how it goes. On the other hand https://cbs.centos.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=27138 if the above was released we could just install and migrate to rh-php73-php, which is not affected as per https://access.redhat.com/security/cve/cve-2019-11043 thanks --- Thomas Stephen Lee On Thu, Oct 31, 2019 at 8:40 PM Marius ROMAN <marius at roman.systems> wrote: > On 10/31...

My turn at building a custom kernel for IPsec BEET mode
...is a seasoned Centos kernel builder (though they work with different FC kernels), and now they are mostly done for the day. I have been following the wiki on building a custom kernel, got my patch in ~/rpmbuild/SOURCES and away with the rpmbuild. That failed on line 69: Unknown tag: % define buildid .hipl0809111 But the comments say to set the define to something like ".local" or ".bz123456" So why the failure? Too long our are the quotes required? If this works, I would like to see this patch 'mainstreamed' as it is in the 2.6.27 kernel....

xen4centos kernel version / debuginfo
Is there any problem moving to 4.9.31? This contains upstream commits f2e767bb5d6ee0d9 for mpt3sas and 69861e0a52f87333 for dom0 memory mappings. I am also trying to build a debuginfo package but it's not correct. Specifically I'm able to get vmlinux but the .debug files for modules are stripped, which isn't right. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm also not sure how

ansible: which repo?
What would you recommend: ansible is in EPEL8 and ConfigSIG. For the latter I do not see any sources in git.centos.org. Where they come from? I wonder with which repository I should use (long term)? dnf not checking gpg signature sounds scary: https://github.com/ansible/ansible/blob/v2.9.13/changelogs/CHANGELOG-v2.9.rst#security-fixes -- Leon

Compiling extlinux statically
Hi, I'm trying to build extlinux statically, but no matter what CFLAGS or OPTFLAGS I set in the Makefiles I get bios/extlinux/extlinux: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.24, BuildID[sha1]=ef970f59a48b226b2397b73a56e02a73b79c5f0a, not stripped I have tried adding OPTFLAGS= -static to the extlinux/Makefile as well as linux/Makefile but I'm obviously missing something. What flags do I need, and where? Thanks, Adam

postgis-2.0.7-2.el7 still in epel7-testing?
Hi all, I'm looking for a fix in postgis, which seems to be fixed already in postgis-2.0.7-2.el7. However that package seems to be 'stuck' in the epel7-testing repository: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=750618 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2016-b6c229157e Is there a reason that the package is not pushed to stable yet? Or can it be pushed to stable? -- Kind regards, Danny
