[PATCH 0/7] ocfs2: Directory indexing support
The following patches implement indexed directory support in Ocfs2, mostly
according to the design doc I wrote up a while ago:
http://oss.oracle.com/osswiki/OCFS2/DesignDocs/IndexedDirectories
The patches have been rebased on top of 2.6.29-rc2. It should be trivial to
put them into merge_window. Things are what I'd call complete now. I'd like
to get these into the merge_window branch

[PATCH 00/39] ocfs2: Add reflink file support. V3
Hi all,
So I have finally finished the v3 of reflink for ocfs2. The biggest
change is that we support 64bit cluster offset now(Thank Mark and Joel
for it).

Debugging help: BUG: Assertion failure with ext3-0.95 for 2.4.7
Hello ext3-developers,
Just to summarize, I reported a kernel bug message with ext3 on S/390 in
transaction.c. I was able to reproduce it with a ext3 on LVM and on MD.
Tom Rini reported a similar problem on PPC. (both big endian). I have sent
a backtrace and with jbd-debug set to 5 I was not able to reproduce the
problem until now.
On S/390 there are some more debug possibilities. I would

[PATCH] ocfs2: Add statistics for the checksum and ecc operations.
It would be nice to know how often we get checksum failures. Even
better, how many of them we can fix with the single bit ecc. So, we add
a statistics structure. The structure can be installed into debugfs
wherever the user wants.
For ocfs2, we'll put it in the superblock-specific debugfs directory and
pass it down from our higher-level functions. The stats are only
registered with

[PATCH 00/42] ocfs2: Add reflink file support. V1
Hi all,
So I have finally finished the v1 of reflink for ocfs2. It has some
bugs that I am still investigating, but the schema is almost there. So
I'd like to send it out first for review. And Tristan and I will
continue to work on the stability of the code.
The general information for reflink, please see

mark_buffer_dirty() reports buffer_head is not uptodate in JBDroutine journal_create() in kernel 2.6.
Hi Stephen,
I found a bug in JBD routine journal_create() in kernel 2.6, when I debug
the OCFS v2 driver. mark_buffer_dirty() reports buffer_head is not
uptodate. See following bug description.
-------------------------------------------------------
OS: Linux Kernel 2.6.1
Plarform: IA32
Steps:
1. Build the ocfs v2 driver under kernel 2.6.
2. insert ocfs2.ko into kernel 2.6.
3. mkfs.ocfs2 -F

[PATCH] Using qstr in ext3_get_parent()
Hi
In ext3_get_parent(), quick string (struct qstr) can do the job, in place
of declaring a dentry on stack. Following patch does this and saves few
bytes on kernel stack.
Thanks,
Maneesh

[git patches] Ocfs2 updates for 2.6.30
Hi,
The following patches comprise the bulk of Ocfs2 updates for the
2.6.30 merge window. Aside from larger, more involved fixes, we're adding
the following features, which I will describe in the order their patches are
mailed.
Sunil's exported some more state to our debugfs files, and
consolidated some other aspects of our debugfs infrastructure. This will
further aid us in debugging

making 0.0.6b a module
I have ext3 0.0.6b + 2.2.19 and cannot get ext3 to compile as a module.
If I try to modularize it, or turn in off completely, the kernel build
fails. Is there an easy fix for this, or is there something that I am
missing?
Thanks.

[PATCH] ocfs2: Access and dirty the buffer_head in mark_written.
In __ocfs2_mark_extent_written, when we meet with the situation
of c_split_covers_rec, the old solution just replace the extent
record and forget to access and dirty the buffer_head. This will
cause a problem when the unwritten extent is in an extent block.
So access and dirty it.

Looks good to me but you'll need to reorder this patch at the end of the
patch series to avoid breaking compilation in the middle of the series.

[PATCH 0/3] ocfs2-1.4: Backport inode alloc from mainline.
Hi all,
this patch set are the backport of inode alloc improvement from
mainline to ocfs2-1.4.
the patches are almost the same excpet one thing:
Joel has added JBD2 support to ocfs2, so he has added "max_blocks" to
alloc_context and add a new function
"ocfs2_reserve_clusters_with_limit". We don't have that in ocfs2-1.4. So
there are some great difference in patch 2.

[PATCH 0/13] ocfs2: xattr bucket API
When the extended attribute namespace grows to a b-tree, the leaf
clusters are organized by means of 'buckets'. Each bucket is 4K in
size, regardless of blocksize. Thus, a bucket may be made of more than
one block.
fs/ocfs2/xattr.c has a nice little abstraction to wrap this, struct
ocfs2_xattr_bucket. It contains a list of buffer_heads representing
these blocks, and there is even an
