IO error encountered - skipping file deletion
...for at least a month but
recently had started to refuse to automatically delete anything on the
destination drive.
The command I am now running is:
rsync -av --delete --exclude=RECYCLED --exclude=RECYCLER
--exclude="System Volume Information" --exclude="big.zip"
192.168.1.21::buffalo160 /cygdrive/f/ >> c:/logs/cwrsync/stdout.txt
The only reason I noticed that it had stopped deleting files was the
error at the top of the stdout log. With two -v flags it read:
opening tcp connection to 192.168.1.21 port 873
receiving file list ...
[receiver] expand file_list to 131072 bytes,...
