Bind - built in root hints?
Over on the bind-users at lists.isc.org list, I am in a discussion about
building the named.zone file, as Centos 6.3 does not provide it. It
DOES provide a named.ca which is already old (wrt AAAA records) compared
to the named.zone provided by internic.
A few contributors have stated that now the hints are built into bind
and you can see this with:
strings /usr/local/sbin/named | grep

GnuTLS v3.1.6 on CentOS 6.3
Hi,
on CentOS 6.3 (32-bit) current & default GnuTLS is version
2.8.5-4.el6_2.2 gnutls.i686
( where can i get a src rpm for at-least trying it from a
2nd/different directory ? )
Can someone kindly point to an article that will help to effectively
upgrade to GnuTLS v3.1.1 or later+stable version, on CentOS 6.3
(32-bit) ?
Need the DANE supported GnuTLS, will be used for various GnuTLS
depended

Adding CA/Root SSL / TLS Certificate, HTTPS
Hi,
I need to add my own and other/new self-signed ca/root cert in CentOS
pki database/system, for all/most type of apps to use.
Using "wget", i'm trying to securely(HTTPS) get gpg keys/files from
https://fedoraproject.org/keys site, which is using root cert with
following info:
CN = GeoTrust Global CA
O = GeoTrust Inc.
C= US
MD5 f7:75:ab:29:fb:51:4e:b7:77:5e:ff:05:3c:99:8e:f5

OpenSSL 1.0.1c for CentOS 6.3
Hi,
another user on different mailing list pointed out openssl 1.0.1c
from fedora 18 will work on centos 6.3, and also warned on replacing
core components, and i also know as well, various other component
starts to fail/stop working, like openssh, etc, if not properly
pre-configured after a upgrade.
Can anyone point out to a detail helpful & working article ? which
will help on replacing
