No, I'm not including the <> -- I was trying to show that it was
something that I removed from my example..
Thanks.

Mitel 5220 IP phones
Has anyone here had any experience with Mitel 5220 IP phones with Asterisk?
Basic features are working good, but I'm looking for more advanced
features like
sending text to the display or having the lights on when an extension is
in use via the
hint subscription. Thanks.

database lookup
Hi all,
I'm looking for an easy way to lookup numbers from the database so I can fork calls from my daughters friends onto her IP phone/answering system. I'm looking for something very similar to LookupBlacklist, but I'm already using LookupBlackist to filter out telemarketers. What I'm doing now is adding multiple exten=> lines to my extensions.conf file to match those

Re: delaying "answer" for a number of rings or an amount
Well in my setup I have a few IP phones connected to Asterisk as well as POTS phones on my analog line. When a call for my daughter comes in on the analog line (determined from callerID) I send it to her own voicemail after 20 seconds of ringing. It all works quite well.
Here's a step-by-step of what happens below:
1 - a call comes in and Asterisk rings SIP/Brian and SIP/joe for 30 seconds.

Re: Will not authenticate incoming VOIP provider
I don't use digitalvoice, but based on a similar provider you may need to have your username inserted
in your extensions.conf context....
[incoming_calls]
exten => username,1,Answer( )
exten => username,2,Playback(demo-echotest)
exten => username,3,Hangup( )
Just an idea....

Enum parse errors
I'm running into errors when using Enum lately. I can't figure out what
the problem might be as I've had Enum up and running in the past. I'm
running the latest CVS-Head compiled version. I've also tried using the
new Enum function with the same results. When doing a lookup on a number
that exists in the enum server I get the following results:
