Option valid user not expanded for groups
Hi,
I have a AIX 5.3 machine with Samba 3.0.24c joined into one Windows 2003 ADS server OK.
I can request basic information, user lookup, domain lookup(wbinfo, id, net groupmap).
When I want to acces the share \\node05\brom from one Windows station I receive a popup window password.
In the log of the samba for that machine I found:
[2007/04/27 10:48:27, 2] auth/auth.c:check_ntlm_password(319)

Help on predict.lm
...ng to use “lm“ to first estimate parameter values from a set of
calibration measurements, and then later to use those estimates to calculate
another set of values with “predict.lm”.
First I have a calibration dataset of absorbance values measured from
standard solutions with known concentration of Bromide:
> stds
abs conc
1 -0.0021 0
2 0.1003 200
3 0.2395 500
4 0.3293 800
On this small calibration series, I perform a linear regression to find the
parameter estimates of the relationship between absorbance (abs) and
concentration (conc):

unbreak vfork on cris architecture
Hi klibc people,
if someone has to say more on this, please do so. I?m only trying
to explain what I _think_ I learned?

syslinux.efi hangs during PXE boot
...it version of syslinux.efi through network. But
booting is freezes with following message:
Getting cached packets
My IP is X.X.X.X
the last file that was requested through tftp is syslinux.efi.
I'm using precompiled binary from official syslinux-6.02.tar.gz.
Here is the dump in ASCII - http://brom.in/dumps/syslinux-20131220.txt
Any help is appreciated.

PXELinux sending a boot disquette image? Is this possible?
...so please answear with
simple words ;)
My problem is that I have to install and configure linux (RH9) on 36
identical computers. This would take ages. What I want to do, is to
configure one, and then clone the install.
But thos computers have no CD, no floppy, and I didn't manage to boot them
brom an usb stick.
The last option is to boot them via PXE (they can). So PXElinux seems a
good thing to try.
I've found a software that can copy a harddrive image to a ftp server, and
afterthat, install it on another computer.
Here's the software: http://www.feyrer.de/g4u/
But g4u boots from...

Doesn't matter.

VirtIO disk 'leakage' across guests?
We are in the process of migrating several stand-alone
server hosts onto a CentOS-6 kvm virtual host. We also
use Webmin to administer our hosts. All of the guests,
without exception, have been cloned brom a prototype guest
using virt-manager. All of the additional VirtIO disks
assigned to some of the guests have been added through
virt-manager as well.

syslinux EFI?
Hi,
I see that 6.x release is out. UEFI support is included. How can I boot
Windows 2008 through EFI? What steps of configuration pxelinux I should
follow?
Also can I boot both BIOS and EFI client from one pxelinux environment? My
configuration is syslinux(pxelinux) + ISC dhcp.
Thanks.

smbd panic due to negative exclusive oplock count
Hi,
I'm facing an issue with at least two Samba servers in production both
showing important number of log entries like:
smbd[27355]: PANIC: assert failed at smbd/oplock.c(149):
exclusive_oplocks_open>=0
Looking at the source code, this panic is triggered when the number of
exclusive oplocks for a given file becomes negative.
Once triggered for one smbd process, this process can
