OpenGL issue on games - Ati 5650 on ubuntu 10.10 64bit
...my ubuntu running d3d games in wine, I hope someone can help me with this as I am a bit amateur in solving this problem.
My config
Ubuntu 10.10 64bit on an Aspire 5740, proprietary drivers and fully updated to moment.

Prediction accuracy from Bagging with continuous data

tar cvhf with link restore??
I am doing "tar" test due to some software require "tar cvhf". When I using "tar cvhf and tar xvhf ", files have symbolic link replace by physical files.
wield things is my friend using same command 'tar cvhf and tar xvhf". after restore link still there.

Help with gamm errors

Question 2: Any hints on what might be causing this? Am I fitting the wrong
(or too complicated a model)?
Btw if it is relevant I am using mgcv_1.3-19 and R 2.3.1.

Are SSD disks worth the cost for server usage?
