Memory leak scripts
Hola, I am trying to isolate the memory leak I suspect in a mailman
installation ? I found:
http://blogs.sun.com/sanjeevb/date/200506
It gives an error:
god at irt-smtp-02:~ 9:21am 65 # ./memleak.d 10312

I have a machine running centos3.4, once in a while trying to run yum, i got a segmentation fault.

wine & RH7.0 - failed dependencies
Hi
I am using redhat 7.0 with the stock kernel. I downloaded the daily build
of wine last night from <http://www.linux-easy.com/daily>. I just tried
to install wine and it gave me the following messages:
> sh-2.04# rpm -i -h ~gjs/wine-20010731-1.i386.rpm
> error: failed dependencies:
> libXv.so.1 is needed by wine-20010731-1
> libXxf86dga.so.1 is needed by wine-20010731-1

libvirt with qemu-kvm, not recognizing NIC model
...del type
in my xml config file, it comes up as an Intel e1000. I ran "qemu-kvm
-net nic, model=? /dev/null" and I got back a list of supported models
including pcnet,e1000,virtio, and others as expected. No matter which I
put in my xml file for /etc/libvirt/qemu/Symantec-bg.xml (a Symantec
Brightmail Gateway virtual machine), I just get back that its an Intel
card on boot (which doesn't work with Symantec BG).
I am running Fedora 12, kernel is 2.6.31.6-166.fc12.x86_64. The version
of libvirt is 0.7.1. I am running it on an Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8400 @
2.66 GHz. I have the same problem...

sd_max_throttle
Hello,
we are using hardware array and its vendor recommends the following setting in
/etc/system:
set sd:sd_max_throttle = <value>
or
set ssd:ssd_max_throttle = <value>
Is it possible to monitor *somehow* whether the variable becomes
sort of bottleneck ? Or how its value influences io traffic ?
