Seeking ERD/Schema resources
...(Benjamin Curtis)
I''ve learned lots, however these books cover selling one type of
product (i.e. a book). One thing is eluding me: I''m trying to develop a
schema for a music store that offers products with options (i.e.
Filetype, Length) and I''m running into a conceptual brickwall.
Specifically the step that happens before I even turn on the computer.
The diagram of how it all ties together.
Mr. Curtis covers to this in (the excellent) Money Train, but his
example is incomplete (as advertised) and just out of my depth. It

rt3 3.8.2 latest version as rpm for C5?

I know, epel has rt3 in version 3.6.x.
And - sadly - for version 3.8.x the perl module dependencies are way

But we really need some of the 3.8.x series features.
So has anybody maybe built those modules + rt3 v3.8.x for C5?
Any hint?
I really do not want to install f10. :O
Thx

Linux vs. Windows SMB buffering
Hi all,
In our office we use a program that makes many small writes to a file. We
have been trying to use this program with our NAS, which hosts a Samba
share on the network. However, the performance of the program is
staggeringly slow on Window 7, 8.1, and 10.
To make the problem easily repeatable, I created a small C++ program to
just write 1 million lines to a file:

Install CentOS as KVM guest
I'm having problems trying to install CentOS as a KVM guest despite
following the wikis and howtos.
The problem is that most of the instructions skip the part that
happens after virt-install... It seems that something blindingly
obvious happens if nothing goes wrong and most instructions continues
from the OS installation screen.
However, when I try this, I get a blank console that says
