Support for FSP EP1000
...ot;Q1" command. 5 out of 5 detection attempts failed (minimum failures: 2). Megatec protocol UPS not detected. protocol for "Surge MAX"
I am sorry if this is an FAQ, but there doesn't seem to be searchable archives, and the supported manufacturer's list doesn't include "surge master". Google was also not much help. I have just put a Linux box and the customer has a "surge max " UPS. Anyone any ideas what protocol it uses? There is a Green serial cable. The manufacturers web site is here:

mbox or maildir?
I am using dovecot in an SMEServer (aka e-smith), and recently backed-up on one system and restored on another system the imap email directories. The trouble was that dovecot "guessed" the mail type wrongly, and I ended up with "empty" ~/Mail directories (did it create or populate these?), and full, but ignored ~/Maildir directories for every user. Could someone point me

NPA NXX data
HI all - I know, slightly off list, but.. I'm looking for a NPA NXX database with City and State. Actually it's for an Asterisk routing app I'm working on. I see several vendors that want a few bucks to those that want an arm and leg. I expect this is published somewhere by some government agency, but Google hasn't got me to it yet. Unusuall Asterisk Usage Idea...
I'm currently trying to experiment to implement an idea I had to use asterisk for more creative call control. Currently on my test server at home when an incoming call comes in it will execute Dial() and ring a multitude of devices at the same time. (Including my cell phone via IAX outgoing trunk.) When my primary outbound IAX trunk is non-responsive (or fails) my backup trunk is a SIP trunk
