Asterisk Queues Problem
...there - and nothing happens - I call into the queue and
press 1 and don't go anywhere.
Please help if you know how to solve this issue, I have been working on
it for a week and it's becoming quite urgent (not to mention causing me
to tear my hair out with frustration...)

Queue extension issues
...xt. 101. That's right, isn't it?
Problem is, dialling 1 doesn't go to ext. 101
I can't see anything obvious that I've done wrong - It all looks right
to me. But I've obviously missed something. Can anyone enlighten me as
to what that something might be?

auto_complete with multiple params
I''m using the auto_complete plugin, and it works great, my problem is i
need to pass multiple parameters to the controller other that what is
typed in the text field.
<%= text_field_with_auto_complete :search, :contains, :size => 15,
:frequency => 0.1, :skip_style => true -%>
This is what i have as of now, but i also need to pass ":language =>

OpenSSH and Idle Timeouts
Theo et al.,
I've looked back through the OpenSSH mailing lists and am stumped as to
why there is no IdleTimeout option for OpenSSH. (Normally the omission
of a feature as useful as this generates much debate and flame-quashing
from the dev. team).
Is there some background to this that I'm missing?
Here's the scenario, and I'm fully open to any workarounds.

Show SQL request without issuing it
Hi all,
I saw that some object.save is causing the SQL request to crash, but I
don''t see the SQL request in the logs (only ruby code that''s showing an
error during the .save method).
Is there any way to show the SQL request before it''s issued to the
database ?

Working around/with Restful Authentication
I''m using Restful Authentication, and the code to create a user is
pretty straight forward - there is a before_save action and a
before_create action:
before_save :encrypt_password
before_create :make_activation_code
But for some reason when I try to create a user programmatically in
the controller like this:
User.new(:email =>

Problems with GXP2000 and Asterisk => Call pickupand Voicemail
1. We just dial the extension directly and have speed dials setup for
the first 6 parked positions. We don't use *8 at all.
2. Change the config on the phones under Account to "Send DTMF via RTP
(RFC2833)"

Cannot start Samba 3.0.23a
I just installed Samba 3.0.23a from the sources on a Slackware 10
server kernal version 2.4.26. I didn't get any errors during
installation. When I try to start the Samba daemon by smdb -D nothing
happens. Here is a snippet from log.smbd:

smbd version 3.0.23a started.
