[LLVMdev] Google Summer of Code proposal: Adding memory safety checks to the LLVM bitcodes
...as usual with the exception that it ignores variables not queried by the "user", thus making the sets of variables smaller.  The run-time is still cubic, but the input size is smaller. Yes: that is the idea of doing it on demand. And the analysis must be context-sensitive too. Venet and Brat had discussed it before in the paper [2]. One way to get a bit of context sensitiveness is with function inlining, that LLVM already does for us. [2] Precise and Efficient Static Array Bound Checking for Large Embedded C Programs, Arnaud Venet and Guillaume Brat. Thus, to summary my GSoC project,...

...faults to monospace. The standard GNOME monospace font is not the only good monospace font in the world. That said, I wonder if the complainers know how good they have it? I wonder how they?d fare if sent back to the days of xfs, blocky fixed-size pixel fonts, and X font strings? Buncha spoiled brats not appreciating their antialiased resizable sensibly-named fonts, installed by default and working out of the box. :)

[LLVMdev] Google Summer of Code proposal: Adding memory safety checks to the LLVM bitcodes
Dear LLVMers, My name is Raphael Ernani, and I am doing my MsC at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. I have been using LLVM for a while, and I would like to participate in this year's Summer of Code. One particular idea, in your "open projects" page caught my eye, and I decided to write a proposal about it. The line that I liked in the page was "Create an LLVM
