...oadcasts; in fact, we
see lots of broadcast packets using tcpdump. From outside, though, you
can't see the servers. Trying to ping them, they see nothing. It seems to
be the case that tcp and icmp packets are blocked, and we can't figure out
why.

No, it doesn't. Brain fart on my part, too tired, too many noisy
distractions from kids, too many cosmic rays, or something :)
br0 is layered on eno1
br2 is layered on enp1s0.2.
br3 is layered on enp1s0.3.
The non-DMZ VMs get connected to br2 and br3.

On the host I connect to the network using a different nic ifcfg-em5.

2 or more bridges not working
Hi,
Adding one bridge to cent7 works fine. But when adding a
second bridge it either takes the IP from the First bridge and
stops the first bridge from working or
Stops the first bridge from working and does not work for either
bridge
I?m adding
BRIDGE=br3
to ifcfg-eth0
and then
creat ifcfg-br3
and adding the necessary requirments TYPE, BOOTPROTO,
DELAY
Is there a reason why Cent7 won?t except two or more bridges?
I?m using NM after a yum update.
Best,

hosted VMs, VLANs, and firewalld
I'm looking for some information regarding the interaction of KVM,
VLANs, firewalld, and the kernel's forwarding configuration. I would
appreciate input especially from anyone already running a similar
configuration in production. In short, I'm trying to figure out if
a current configuration is inadvertently opening up traffic across
network segments.

can''t use shorewall in a UML-Session
...I want to setup a virtual firewall-host in a UML-Session.
I''m using Kernel 2.4.27-um1 and shorewall 2.2.2-2 from Debian sarge.
I have 4 nic''s in my System:
eth0 -> localnet 0
eth1 -> localnet 1
eth2 -> wlan
eth3 -> DSL/ppp0
I''m using four bridges br0,br1,br2,br3.

Kernel panic on nouveau during boot on NVIDIA NV118 (GM108)
We are working with new desktop that have the NVIDIA NV118
chipset.
During boot, the display becomes unusable at the point where the
nouveau driver loads. We have reproduced on 4.8, 4.11 and linux
master (4.12-rc3).
Dmesg log is attached.
Is this a known issue? Anything we can do to help?
Thanks

Help with understanding and solving snapshot problem
Hello
Fairly new to libvirt. I’m hoping to both solve a problem with this question as well as learn more detail about how libvirt works.
Using RHEL 6.4 and libvirt version is 0.10.2 and qemu-img version is 0.12.1.2
Using virt-manager I created a VM. Nothing unusual as far as I can see. I then added a disk. So I have a second virtio based volume which the guest then mounts as a separate
