[patch] Initialize xen_vcpu0 before initialize irq_ops
...en_vcpu[0]
initialization. This lead to a problem because some operations in
xen_irq_ops use
xen_vcpu.
I send you a patch to fix that but I''m not quite sure that is the
right solution.

read.table : how to condition on error while opening file?
Hi,
I'm using read.table in a loop, to read in multiple files. The problem
is that when a file is missing there is an error message and the loop is
broken; what I'd like to do is to test for the error and simply do
"next" instead of breaking the loop. Anybody knows how to do that?
Example:
filelist <- c("file1.txt", "file2.txt",

Journaled ext3 file system crashed
...ould do to both find the problem source and to
make sure I lose as little as possible when recovering.
I used e2image -r and ran the fsck on it to make sure I knew what it was
going to do. But I don't know anything really about the problem area. What
else would be a good thing to try?

attributing values to dataframe positions following eval
Hi everybody,
I've been looking around, but can't seem to find the answer.
I get a list of names (which vary, so I never know them in advance), and
transform them into variables, each of which is a dataframe, using
assign:
polyList <- c("rs123", "rs124", "rs555", "rs000")
numPoly <- length(polyList)
for (k in 1:numPoly) {

How to get an argument dynamically from a list?
Hi,
I'd like to get an argument (I think it's the right term) dynamically from a list, but cannot manage to do it.
Here is the code I use:
#output given by database
BOB <- c('A/A', 'C/C', '15/27')
MARY <- c('A/A', NA, '13/12')
JOHN <- c('A/A', 'C/A', '154/35')
CLIFF <- c('A/C', 'C/C',

Install R on Redhat EL6.5 without internet - issue
Hi All,
Sorry if this email does not concern you, but I needed help to install R
and R-Studio on a Redhat Linux Enterprise Server WITHOUT Internet
connection.
I have a Mac and can scp rpm packages to the RedHat server.
I have gone through almost all of the options that google returned but none
helped me.
Even after installing the EPEL package, i get the following error :

A minor beef with JSON::decode
Hiya,
So, what was the impetus behind having ParamsParser create Date and
DateTime objects out of application/json requests? The project I''m on
expects parameters to be received as standard types (bools, numbers,
strings, arrays, and hashes). Rails shouldn''t try to convert objects that
are explicitly passed as these types; it should be up to the application to
do that.
