Poor volume on SPA-2100 due to asterisk?

I check the SPA-2100 setup and their is no mic/spk gain control. Is this a problem with the SPA-2100 or with Asterisk? Any way for asterisk to compen...

Cisco phones and Linksys SRW224P
I'm having problem powering Cisco phone's (7940 and 7905) on Linksys SRW224P switch (with PoE functionality). I have tested three phone's, one is working (7905) and two aren't (7905 and 7940). I have plugged all three phones on same switch port with same cable! Do I need to change anything in phone configuration? Is there something wrong with Linksys switch? How can I troubleshoot

PHP version not enough for developers
...hich is long ago. Already then one of my friends started calling Linux "Lindoze" apparently stressing you need to reboot it often, like MS Windows. I would suggest to take his label with a grain of salt, as he is the one who also used funny name for another well known system, after Oracle bough out Sun Microsystems he called Sun-Oracle "snorkel" (as if you pronounce it awfully fast). This was what made first step to "similarity" at least in one respect of Linux to MS Windows. Is systemd yet another step? No comment from me, as at some point I decided to not be on any...

Samba Serving NFS Mounted Directories
I have a Sun 7310 storage server. This is running Solaris 10 but it's self-contained and I can't login to it or run Samba on it. I manage it with a web interface. I have a CentOS 5.3 machine that mounts a bunch of file systems via NFS from the Sun server. This works fine. I installed Samba 3.4.5 on the CentOS machine and configured it to share some of the directories that are actually NFS

solaris-supported 8-port PCI-X SATA controller
I''ve lucked into some big disks, so I''m thinking of biting the bullet (screaming loudly in the process) and superceding the SATA controllers on my motherboard with something that will work with hot-swap in Solaris. (did I mention before I''m still pissed about this?) I have enough to populate all 8 bays (meaning adding 4 disks to what I have now), so the 6 ports on the

First Time T1 Questions
Hi all, i have been using asterisk for a few years but i am about to do my first t1 setup. After terrible quality issues between two business locations, we have decided to purchase a point to point t1 from the local phone co. The internet is too crappy, too much lag, queing and jitter. Most calls were dropped. I was about to order two cisco routers with csu cards and remembered our wonderful
