Regresión ponderada
Colegas: Necesito hacer una serie de ajustes de un modelo de decaimiento exponencial a unos datos de concentración de compuestos fluorescentes contra el tiempo. question concerning the acf function
Hi everyone, I've got a question concerning the function acf(.) in R for calculating the autocorrelation in my data. I have a table with daily returns of several stocks over time and I would like to calculate the autocorrelation for all the series (not only for one time series). How can I do this? After that I want to apply an autoregressive model based on the estimated lag in the

sample within groups-slight problem
I want to sample within groups, and when a group has only one associated number to just return that number. If I use this code: groups <- c(1, 2, 2, 2, 3) numbers <- 1:5 tapply(numbers, groups, FUN = sample) I get the following output: > groups <- c(1, 2, 2, 2, 3) > numbers <- 1:5 > tapply(numbers, groups, FUN = sample) $`1` [1] 1 $`2` [1] 3 2 4 $`3` [1] 2 3 5 1 4

Pickup from an specific exten
Hi everyone, I want to know if there is any way to pickup a call from an specific exten. I know we can configure our pickup code on features.conf, and it works with the members of our pickupgroup, but, if there are two different calls, it's impossible to control which call we pickup. Is there anything to solve that? Thanks a lot!! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment

Query regarding Xen_ComputerSystem
Hi, Libvirt provides classes such as Xen_ComputerSystem, Xen_Processor etc., in order to build applications using libvirt-api which can interact with the Xen Hypervisor. I would like to know what are the corresponding classes for the KVM hypervisor, so that I can use libvirt-cim to communicate with the hypervisor. Would it be Kvm_ComputerSystem or Qemu_Computersystem? Any help in this regard

libvir: Remote error : cannot recv data: : Connection reset by peer
I'm using Libvirt's Java API and connecting to the hypervisor using the same. My program is such that periodic discovery of active VMs is done using Libvirt's functions. However, when I try to perform any VM related operations while the Java code connecting to Qemu is running such as shutdown, start VM using virsh, I end up with : 'libvir: Remote error : cannot recv data: :

How make a x,y dataset from a formula based entry
Hello all, So I am using the (formula entry) method for randomForests: randomForest(y~x1+x2+...+x39+x40,data=xxx,...) but the issue is that some of the items in that package dont take a formula entry - you have to explicitly state the y and x vector: randomForest(x=xxx[,c('x1','x2',...,'x40')],y=xxx[,'y'],...) Now my question is whether there is a function/way

How to specify a variable name in the regression formula without hard coding it
I have a matrix called mat and y is the column number of my response and x is a vector of the column numbers of my terms. The variable name of y can change, so I don't want to hardcode it. I can find out the name as follows: > names(mat)[y] [1] "er12.l" Then I can run the regression by hard coding the variable name as follows: > mod <-
