Resuming the discussion of establishing an LLVM code of conduct

I don't think we need an explicit policy here personally. The nice thing is
that if this kind of behavior bothers people, they can ask for it to stop
and cite the code of conduct for why.
I will (somewhat abashedly) admit I have a rather foul mouth. It bothers
some of my co-workers, and I work assiduously to respect that and change my
language when around them. As you point out, it really isn't required t...

[PATCH] copy: don't bother trying to create copy on pre-nva3
Only the NVA3/5/8/F tesla chips have a copy engine. Don't bother trying
to create one on earlier tesla chips (and thus printing an error on
failure).

Compareing backends
How does the speed of SQL compare to the speed of LDAP? If the speeds
are comparable, why bother with LDAP, which doesn't handle writes very well?

Problems with NIS Server on Samba 4
Hi,
I am having problems for users to authenticate to the Windows Server 2008
file server, so I checked that the Samba 4 DC Unix attributes are not
enabled.
I am trying to create Unix attributes on Samba 4, but it doesn't bother any
NIS server to select.
How can I solve this problem?

Reading floating points into a field stored as Integers
Hi, I''m trying to follow the "AWDR" example of storing certain types of
numbers (in my case, percentages not money) as integers in the
database. I understand from the Depot application how to format the
output to have 2 places (or n places for that matter) decimal.
Now, I"m wondering about the input. It''s more natural for people to
enter numbers as

Sorry to be a bother ISO root password
As far as I can make out the root password for the ISO download is
supposed to be epping or EPPING depending upon which version you are
using.
I've downloaded an ISO image from the following link but neither passwords
seem to work :(

I just installed 5.1 release and I usually cvsup to stable but I'm not sure
there is a stable version yet.
should I bother with cvsuping? I have always followed the stable track..
This is for a firewall machine with simple rules running dns, samba, ftp,
etc...

Bother
This afternoon, after my fiasco with the other machine, I decided to
bring the drive home and install it in the primary machine here, boot
from the normal drive, then mount the 4.1 i386 drive so I could make
changes and check things. What happened next was totally unexpected.
After decompressing the kernel and starting the boot, there were all
kinds of error messages scrolling off the

Comments in vorbisfile_example
...1) Near the end, there is a comment that says "we don't bother dealing
with sample rate changes, etc, but you'll have to." I assume the author is
regarding to different sample rates as a whole, not dynamic sample rates. Am
I correct in that assumption?
2) That etc bothers me. Are there other things I should keep an eye
out for? I can't seem to think of any.
3) At the top, he says that using vorbisfile is easier than using
libvorbis. Is there any advantage to using libvorbis? I honestly can't see
one, unless one needs access to raw functions for some r...

Mail account brute force / harassment
Marc,
There is a strategy loosely referred to as "choose your battles well" :-)
Let the others bother with their own problems.
If you can, hack the server and dump the 500GB - you'll be using resources
transferring the 500GB as the
other server receives it. Two servers wasting resources because you think
you are punishing an offender!
