Metafor vs Meta vs Spreadsheet: wrong numbers
Hello, I experimented the Metafor and Meta packages in the scope of replacing Excel for meta-analysis. I performed the first working example provided in Michael Borenstein's book "Introduction to Meta-Analysis" with Excel, Metafor and Meta. The numbers given by my spreadsheet, which I validated from Borenstein's book, conrespond quite closely to those given by Meta, but are different from those obtained using Metafor. For the fixed effect, I...

did something in revision 68 break stubs?
Hi, I''ve been a happy user of Mocha for a while now. My current project is by far the most complicated I''ve ever worked on and Mocha has made testing it much easier than it would otherwise be. So, I was highly disturbed to come in this morning, run svn up and find that something in today''s update broke lots of my tests. I use Mocha as a Rails plugin under

cron and name with ''.''
I dont know if i am missleaded but it seems to me that the cron type does not accept names with a ''.'' in it ? I tried to add a cron with a name cron1-$domainename and it does not accept it. If i remove the ''.'' in the domain it work. I am using .22.3 anyone seeing the same behavior ? If yes i will fill it as a bug. -- Cordialement, Ghislain ADNET. AQUEOS.

Ticket 616, service resource takes over puppetd port
Hello Luke, After our services do now successfully restart, we hit now the already opened bug where the restarted service takes over puppetd port if it''s configured to listen. One solution is to remove the listen option but it''s very nice to invoke a puppetrun on the clients from the central server without waiting for its next run. Where you already able to take a look? CentOS 4.4-IBM Netvista Performace Problems, help needed.
I've got an odd situation that I need some advise on. I have two computers that I am planning to use as a cluster. I initially started with some left over Compaq Presairos with 667MHz CPUs. I loaded CentOS 4.3 and later updated to 4.4. Things ran normally, albeit slowly. I had an opportunity to upgrade to a pair of IBM Netvistas with 2.26 GHz CPUs, I did this by transferring the

Managing packages which require a reboot
Hi, I''m working on a method to manage packages which require a reboot after being installed. I''m curious how other people are handling this problem. Consider the resource: pkg_deploy { "MacOSXUpdCombo10.4.9Intel.dmg": alias => macosx1049 } I''d like to only install the package under if the following conditions are met: - No user is logged into the

services do not get restarted
Hello List, We are using puppet to manage a growing number of Debian Etch based servers (currently 70). Since upgrading to 0.22.4 we encountered a problem when services do not restarted on puppets request. For example the Nagios remote plugin executor daemon (nrpe). It''s running daemonized and its confiugration is located in /etc/nagios/nrpe.cfg. This file is managed through puppet
