Trouble with MacPorts install, .profile file not created/ need help
...installation, I
looked for the .profile file to change the environment variables, but
found that no .profile file was created.
When I tried to do so, I got an error message:
/Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit .profile

Mac OS X - problems with audio tab in winecfg
...nchecked everything, and then applied the settings. Now, winecfg hangs when I attempt to access the audio tab, so I can't change my settings back. Here's the log output when I try to open the tab (warning, this is very long):
