Winbindd needs 5 minutes to work after reboot
...taking too long time to get an
IP address, so maybee this is not a Samba/Winbind problem but there seems to
be some synchronization missing during boot.
This problem is on Ubuntu 7.04, I had the same problem on Fedora 4 2 years
back, but there I managed to stop the network start/DHCPclient, so the
bootsequence does not continue until the system has got an IP address, this
works ok.
So my question is how do I stop the bootsequence on Ubuntu during DHCPclient
processing until an valid IP address is received ? Should this be part of
winbindd configuring ?

UPS shuts down after restart
...heck if the UPS then goes to 'OL DISCHRG'
I now tested the manuall `upsdrvctl shutdown` and the UPS goes to 'OL DISCHRG'. So I think nut is sending the shutdown command to the UPS during boot without setting FSD.
Just a wild guess: I recognized the system time in syslog during the bootsequence is suspicious. It looks like there is too less time between the shutdown logs and the boot logs. I think it's because the RasPi doesn't have an RTC battery. Maybe there is some code somewhere in the nut startup, which checks the timestamp of the POWERDOWNFLAG-file and the actual system time...

UPS shuts down after restart
>> But I noticed two other details:
>> 1. I was a bit wrong with step 7 and 8 - Looks like the UPS is "OL CHRG" (according to display) at first but goes to battery ("OL DISCHRG" according to nut) right when the RasPi (and nut) is booting.
>> 2. When I pull the plug of the RasPi after UPS went down before main power comes back (so between step 5 and 6), the UPS

syslinux.efi problem TFTPing ldlinux.e64 on hyper-v gen2 netboot
...ersion 5.0, Generation 2" (via VM summary), using the only available network adapter.
Secure boot is disabled (although that probably would have burned me loading the initial syslinux.efi).
The syslinux.efi and ldlinux.e64 are coming from syslinux-6.03.tar.gz (from www.kernel.org).
Here is a bootsequence for the physical system that works:

Xen Roadmap proposal
Folks,
Please find attached a proposal for the Xen development roadmap for the
next 18 months or so.
The roadmap gives a "state of the nation" summary and provides
suggestions as to priorities going forward. I''ve tried to be inclusive
and collect together many of the various features that folks have asked
for, along with some implementation ideas to guide developers. The
