FreeBSD9.2-RC1 bootonly network installation fetch error (snapshots vs releases)
Hello :-)
I am installing the 9.2-RC1 bootonly iso which wants to download stuff from
snapshots while it is in releases directory:
Installer wants to get 9.2-RC1 stuff from here (where it is missing):

While the stuff is at:

[patch 0/6] Various cleanups
Hi Andi,
Here's a little batch of cleanups:
- re-enable VDSO when PARAVIRT is enabled
- make the parainstructions symbols match the
other altinstructions naming convention
- add kernel command-line options to disable altinstructions for
smp and pv_ops
Oh, and I'm mailing your noreplacement patch back at you, for no
particularly good reason.

booting from MS-dos disk.@home.nl
...e bootsector used on it break
booting through Memdisk on purpose somehow.
I'll try to test if it's only the bootsector, as
http://fdos.org/AutoIndex/index?dir=kernel/&file=SYS.dev.COM
is able to write a diskette bootsector for WinME.
create the WinXP/ME bootdisk, then:
SYS.COM A: A: /BOOTONLY
if the image works with Memdisk, then it's bootsector to blame.
otherwise kernel, in which case you'd better use a Win98 image from
bootdisk.com or so (provided you have a license for it, ofcourse :) )

I do not yet have snapshots for the 8-STABLE branch, but am working on

since the necessary distribution sets are not available on the FreeBSD

very easily.
