way to see the bootmenu via serial?
Maybe this should go to the qemu mail list, but I have domains configured
to dump to serial. Works fine I see Grub menu/kernel messages and the like,
but the "bootmenu" listing only shows up over vnc. Is there a way to have
that show up over serial?
I definitely can hit up the qemu mail list as well if inappropriate for here

Booting from scsi

into the OS from the harddisk. Following are some excerpts from my xml
file. Please get back to me if you need any more information

I also tried removing the boot parametes from <os> and added
<boot order='1'/> in the scsi disk section. Still I am not able to use the
scsi disk to boot (my qemu-system-x86_64 however has the boot=on option)

sorry for the many mailings. I should stick to freedos mailinglists but am currently experimenting a lot in providing users with the best installation I can imagine.
I'll put up a final diskette image if there is inter...

I have tried

but vmlinuz does not get executed.
I was given a prompt ("boot:"). Despite that "prompt 0" and "timeout 0" are

Syslinux Digest, Vol 116, Issue 20
Hi!
We use Windows tftp-servers (so I dont think switching now would be an alternative). But I can try to suggest it.
More specific, vendor id of the mac address, is what I want to be able to "choose" (if match) which bootmenu to display.
Like all broadcom NICs we have would boot the undionly.kpxe "menu!! (I am having some trouble with broadcom (PCI fiber) and iPXE :)
And the rest would use ipxe.pxe (works best for our setup).
Would it be much work to implement or rather have available as an patch, so if anyone el...

Problem with pxelinux 5.0 and memtest
Hello,
This is my first post to this list.
After searching through the archives and google searches I could not find a solution
for my memtest problem.
In previous versions of pxelinux/gpxelinux (4.04 and 4.06) I could successfully
start the memtest utility. But using pxelinux/gpxelinux versions 5.01 and 5.02 the
memtest utility does not boot and I get an error message:
boot:
