repeat write.table with the same code many times
Dear all,
I am using R version 2.9.2 in Windows.
I would like to output the results of a function I have written to a .txt
file. I know that I can do this by using the code
write.table(boothd(10),"boothd10.txt",sep="\t",append=TRUE) etc. However, I
would like to bootstrap my function 'boothd' several times and get each
vector of results as a new line in my text file. Is there a way to do this?
I usually just set the code up to do bootstrapping around the f...

Disabling MEMDISK
I have added instructions to memdisk.doc for how to disable MEMDISK.
However, it's unlikely that this will work if you're running under DOS,
since DOS will be very unhappy about drives changing underneath it.
Anyway, until the next (pre)release comes out, here are the instructions:

Can't boot a kernel from usb drive
I have been trying to boot a kernel I compiled. I tried 2 different USB
thumb drives. I tried win32 syslinux 3.31 and 3.36 with no luck. I even
tried another known good kernel for testing purposes. After syslinux
starts I get "Invalid or corrupt kernel image" but I don't think it is
even really trying to run it. The last time I built a kernel about 1-1/2
years ago you could put a
