Pretec Allegro does not appear to play Oggs
Can I change the wiki? The box claims it plays oggs, the tech. specs. in the booklet claims it plays oggs, *some* places on the website claims it supports oggs, but it doesn't actually play my oggs. Can I move it to a "misadvertised" section, or a "rumours" section, or what can I do to indicate this to other people, so they don't accidentaly buy it?...

(The authors ported the matlab code of Yinyu Ye http://www.stanford.edu/~yyye/ <http://www.stanford.edu/%7Eyyye/>) Currently I'm looking for an implementation of sequential quadratic programming to replicate SNOPT*. A good reference I found on the web is this booklet http://www2.imm.dtu.dk/pubdb/views/edoc_download.php/5456/pdf/imm5456.pdf . Does anyone know an implementation of such algorithms? Is there any fortran implementation available useful if I have to implement it? Thanks in advance Christophe * SNOPT: An SQP Algorithm For Large-Scale Constrained...

Transfer function observed vs predicted values graph problem
...red as depth to the water table) of an area given the testate amoebae that are found there. I've carried out weighted averaging of the data and am trying to produce a graph that shows the observed water-table versues the model's predicted values. Following the instructions in the rioja help booklet (see below), I end up with a graph where the origin is not at the bottom left of the diagram, i.e. the graph is showing some values that suggest that the water table is, say, 1m above ground. I've tried entering the water-tables as negative values but the same thing happens. Does anybody know i...
